Our Favorite Things

This is a post about our favorite things. Well, mostly Jack's, but because it makes him happy and sometimes quiet, it makes us happy.

Books. He has his favorite but all of them must be out to enjoy the full experience. He will sit sometimes for up to 10 minutes just looking at books.

Daddy....enough said.

Baby Einstein Animal Puppet Anthology is one of our favorites on youtube. Thanks Aunt Shelene for the recommendation. (Yes, you can laugh at our makeshift baby proofing of the TV stand.)

Looking out his bedroom window. He loves that they are the perfect level for them. Neighbors probably hear him banging on them from time to time.

More books

These little books are his favorite! Nothing like a good read before bed after brushing teeth!

Reading Brown Bear Brown Bear with Uncle Ryan

Looking out to the backyard when it was snowing.

Pulling tissues apart. Tissues, paper towels, or anything that can be made into obnoxious sized pieces to pick up seem to always find his hands.

Playing with the clean laundry basket.

Banging on his metal toy bucket.

Selfies (excuse the rash...we're struggling to figure out what he may be allergic to)

More selfies

Selfie with mom photo-boming. So annoying!

Breakfast waffles

Walks in the wagon. I haven't even dared take him for a walk in the stroller for fear of boycott.

Hard to believe this little guy was such a cranky frank a year ago! We love his smiles, his belly laughs and even though he isn't talking, we love the little noises he makes to follow yawns, his "ahhhh" that he says when he watches the kids go on the Roller Coaster in Disneyland Fun. It is amazing how much he can communicate (and demand) even without words!
